• Authentication Data: Phone numbers or emails provided via Single Sign-On (SSO) are used exclusively for secure login, order history retrieval, and fraud prevention.
• Transaction & Behavioral Data: Order details, table numbers, and payment status are processed in real-time to facilitate restaurant operations. We may also monitor transactional velocity and device behavior strictly to prevent promo-code abuse, brute-force attacks, or platform exploitation.
• No Data Brokering: We do not sell your personal data to third parties or data brokers.

Bitekia uses Strictly Necessary Cookies to ensure the platform functions correctly. By using our service, these essential cookies are active:

• Authentication & Security: Secure authentication tokens stored in strictly-controlled, HTTP-only cookies to verify user sessions and prevent unauthorized access.
• State Management: Local storage is used to remember your active orders, cart contents, and table numbers during an active dining session.
• Consent Tokens: To remember your acceptance of this policy so you aren't asked repeatedly.

Because these cookies are essential for the operation and security of the Bitekia platform, they cannot be disabled if you wish to use our digital ordering services.

To provide a real-time, responsive experience, Bitekia may request specific browser or device permissions:

• Push Notifications: Requested to alert restaurant staff of new orders (Kitchen Feed) or alert customers when their food is ready. You can revoke this at any time in your browser settings.
• Camera Access (Optional): Only requested if you use an in-app QR scanner to scan table codes. Bitekia does not store or record video feeds.

As a Data Principal in India, you have the following rights:

• Right to Access: You may request a summary of personal data being processed by Bitekia.
• Right to Correction & Erasure: You can request the correction of inaccurate data or the deletion of your account and associated personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected.
• Right of Grievance Redressal: You have the right to register a grievance with our designated Data Protection Officer (DPO).
